Thomas "Tom" Simonetti, 74, of Russellton, West Deer Township, passed away, December 6, 2023, at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. He was born on March 3, 1949, in New Kensington, son of the late Biagio and Veronica (Cesnick) Simonetti and has lived in West Deer all of his life. Tom was a graduate of West Deer High School, class of 1967 and received a masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh in engineering. Tom earned his Professional Engineering License and worked for John T. Boyd Company, Canonsburg, as a environmental engineer in the coal mining industry. His employment gave him the opportunity to travel the world. He enjoyed playing golf with work associates, watching all Pittsburgh sports, and car racing. Tom also had a love for watching live music, going to concerts all over the area. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deborah "Debbie" (Shurina) Simonetti; daughter, Caranina "Nina" (Richard Nock) Simonetti of, Wexford; grandson, Dylan Simonetti; brothers, David (Cindy) Simonetti of, Lower Burrell and Roger Simonetti of, West Deer Township; nieces and many cousins.
