Ronald LeRoy Haught Sr., 83, of West Deer Township, passed away at his residence, with his wife at his side, Friday, July 22, 2022. He was born in West Deer Township, July 7, 1939, son of the late William Ray and Marie Margaret (Fredley) Haught, and has been a life long resident. Ronald was a senior technical assistant for PPG, Creighton and Neeley Industries, Butler. He had a passion for running his family farm, raising cattle, pigs, and chickens. Ronald was also an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He constructed his own hunting camp in the Brookville area and enjoyed helping others in the area. Ronald was a United States Army veteran. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Carole Lee (Walters) Haught; daughter, Cheryl (Joseph) Huf of, Butler; brother in-law, Mark (Cathy) Walters, who was like a son to Ron, of West Deer Township and Keith Austin; sister in-law, Gail Bowser; daughter in-law, Betty Haught of, Cowansville; grandchildren, Bethany Tahon, Joshua Tahon, Kelsey Huf, Christine (Winston) Parrish; great grandchildren, Evan Tahon, Cassius Haught, Raylee Parrish, Destiny Haught, Kasiyah Huf and Korbyn Huf; nieces and nephews, Shannon (Scott) Amrhiem, Michelle (Clint) Lumnus, Bonnie (Bill) Cousins, David (Sally) Haught, Darrell (Cathy) Haught, Clint Austin and Craig (Alex) Austin. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents and sons, Ronald LeRoy Haught Jr and Jeffery Haught; grandson, Ronald LeRoy III; siblings, William Haught, Wayne Haught and Judith Austin. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, Monday, July 25, 2022, at Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Road Russellton, 15076. Funeral services will be celebrated 11 am, Tuesday, in the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Henry, officiant. A private burial will be held after the service.
