Richard "Rich" L. Cochran, 76, of Curtisville, West Deer Township, passed away, March 6, 2022, at Passavant Hospital, McCandless. He was born on January 24, 1946 in Rural Ridge, son of the late David G. and Mary E. (Henry) Cochran. Rich was a coal miner for Republic Steel for 25 years, working the Newfield Mine. He was a member of the UMWA, an avid Steeler Fan, enjoyed watching westerns on TV, playing sports with his children and grandchildren and spending time with family and friends. Rich is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Rosella (Fair) Cochran; children, Karen (John) Zalus of, West Deer Township, Brian (Kellie) Cochran of, Clayton, NC, Kevin Cochran of, Cheswick, and Chad (Heidi) Cochran of, Springdale; grandchildren Taylor and Jessica Zalus, Caitlin and Dylan Krimbel; sisters, Helen (Robert) Miller, Alice, Martha and Margaret Cochran and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Charles Cochran, Mildred Swartzlander, Charlotte Cochran and Stella Rose. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Road, Russellton, West deer Township. A funeral service will be conducted 11 am, Thursday in the funeral home. Rich will be laid to rest in Mount Hope Cemetery, Madison Township, Clarion County.
