Polly Ann Schwarzel, 64, of West Deer Twp., passed away unexpectedly, January 1, 2015, in Erie. She was born January 31, 1950 in Greensburg to the late Robert H. and Pauline (Debich) Shaffer. Polly was the former co owner and operator of Deer Lakes Bowl and Lounge, West Deer Twp. She enjoyed traveling to casinos, golfing, bowling, trap shooting, camping, and spending time with her three granddaughters. Polly was a member of the Konne-Yaut Indians Trap Shooting League, American Legion, Grove City, and the champion two years running of the Spring Valley Golf Ladies League. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Joseph Schwarzel; daughters, Diane Schwarzel-Lipp and Dana (George) Schwarzel-Germanich of West Deer Twp; granddaughters Tayla and Tia Germanich and Kaylee Lipp; brother, Robert R. Shaffer of West Deer Twp.; several nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Rd, Russellton, West Deer Twp. At Polly's request it is asked if you dress in casual attire. Services will be held 11 am, Monday, in the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Palawski. She will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Twp.
