Phyllis J. Stepp, 83, of Rural Ridge, Indiana Township, passed away, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. She was born June 18, 1935, in New Kensington to the late Robert and Florence Betler. Phyllis has lived in the area all her life and worked in the office of Penn Glen Oil, New Kensington and Glassmere Fuel, West Deer Township. She enjoyed Pittsburgh sports, especially Penguin Hockey, bingo, reading, and Thomas Kinkade artwork. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Alfred "Pete" Stepp, children; Susan (Martin Sr.) Kotouch, of Burgerttstown and Jeff (Paula) Stepp, of Indiana Township; step grandchildren, Martin "Pook" Kotouch Jr., Chris Kotouch, Paris Szella, and Marc Szella; great granddaughter, Lennox Kotouch. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Iris Hawk, Russell and Robert Betler. Friends are invited to attend visitation from 1 pm to 7 pm, Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Road, Russellton, 15076. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home at 11 am, Monday. She will be laid to rest at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
