Mary Lou Stridinger, 85, of West Deer Township, passed away at her residence Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023. She was born in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late William and Lucy (Ligiska) Evich. Mary Lou worked in the banking industry and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a graduate from Sacred Heart High School, Oakland, and a member of Compassionate Friends, New Kensington. She is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle (Philippe) Yedlowski and Theresa Stridinger; grandsons, David (Gina) Yedlowski and Jason (Shannon) Yedlowski; great-grandson, Matthew; brother and sister-in-law, Dewey (Nancy) Chauvin; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 56 years, Rudolph "Rudy" Stridinger; beloved son in 1988, Michael Stridinger; and siblings, William Evich, Joseph Evich, Amelia Adams and Isabella Kustic. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Christian funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, in Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Victor Campus. Mary Lou will be laid to rest privately next to her husband, Rudy, and son, Michael, at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
