Louise Monarko, 91, of Russellton, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Cabot. Mrs. Monarko was born on October 30, 1924 to the late Louis and Mary Shesky in Russellton, where she has lived all her life. Louise was a member of Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Russellton, and was a member of the Rosary Society. She was also a member of the Owls Club Ladies Auxiliary, Russellton. She is survived by her children, Thomas (Jeannie) Monarko of Fawn Township, Barbara Callender of Tarentum, Christine (Robert Bizyak) Monarko of West Deer Township, and Marie (Lynn Haines) Monarko of West Deer Township; grandchildren, James (Regina) Callender, Jason (Chrissy) Callender, and Thomas Monarko; great grandchildren, James, Jason, and Warren Callender; many nieces and nephews . She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, George A. Monarko; siblings, Vera, Alice, and Bruno Zawrotnaik, Jessie Massimino, and Florence Yinger. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Christian Funeral Mass 10 am, Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Russellton. Louise will be laid to rest next to her husband, George, at Transfiguration Church Cemetery, Russellton.
