Lillian I. Gurtner, 76, of West Deer Twp., passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at her residence. She was born November 21, 1939 in Pittsburgh to the late William and Clara Rose (Kuhn) Rieger. Lillian enjoyed her cats, flower gardening and taking care of her family. She is survived by her daughters Lillian S. (Frank) Catalano of Houston, Pa and Rose Ann (James) Kunkle of West Deer Twp.; siblings, Ruth (Albert) Hammack of Thurmont, MD, Edward Rieger of Evans City, and Kenneth Rieger of Prospect; many nieces and nephews and loving neighbors Rusty and Sammie. She was preceded in death her parents and husband of 51 years, Albert "Pappy" Gurtner; brothers Joseph, Elmer, Louis, Robert, Howard, William, and David Rieger. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Rd, Russellton, 15076. Funeral services will be held 11 am, Monday in the funeral home with Rev. Jerry Pawloski officiating. Lillian will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Gardens next to her loving husband Pappy.
