Joshua Alan Griggle,46, peacefully entered into heaven, in the arms of his wife, December 8, 2023, after a long and courageous battle against cancer.
Josh was born on November 20, 1977, and was a life long resident of the Springdale/Cheswick area.
A 1996 graduate of Springdale High School, Josh earned his associates degree and pursued a career as a metrologist with Coherent Corp.

Josh was an avid fisherman and mentor to many.  He was often found on lakes, streams, and rivers teaching children (and adults) about his passion, his pastime of fishing.

Josh impacted many lives - and left an impression on all he met that will never be forgotten.

Josh was a coach for Harmar Youth Soccer, was a member of Moraine Camplands Association, Springdale Sportsman's Club, and a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Roman Catholic Church.

Josh is survived by his high school sweetheart, Jessica (Trempus) and their three beautiful children whom he adored and loved endlessly, Rylee (18), Mason (12), and Natalie (9) - all at home.
Josh's memory will be cherished and kept alive by his family, for they were Josh's entire world.

Josh is preceded in death by his beloved father, Robert (Bob) Griggle, who taught Josh everything he knew about fishing.  Josh, in turn, passed his skills on to his three children - allowing for Josh and his family to share many memories and moments they will hold in their hearts forever.

A private Catholic service was held on Thursday, December 14, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a future college/secondary educational fund for Rylee, Mason, and Natalie.  Donations can be sent to Jessica Griggle through Venmo @jcgriggle
All donations will be held in trust for Josh's children.
