Jon A. Been, 76, of West Deer Twp, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014, in Alle Kiski Medical Center, Natrona Heights. He was born May 21, 1938 in Pickens, WV to the late Justun and Marion Been. Jon served in the US Army and worked as an electrician and welder for Local 5, Pittsburgh retiring in 1991. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, Pittsburgh sports, golf, and NASCAR. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margaret (Nicolazzo) Been; children, Jon J. Been of Uniontown and Virginia (Larry) White of West Deer Twp.; his granddaughter Jessica White at home; brothers, Tom (Helen) Been of Nevada and Howard (Pearl) Been of Butler. He is preceded in death by his parent and a sister Bertha May Lewandowsky. Friends and realities are invited to attend 5pm to 7:30pm, Monday August 25, 2014, at the Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home 179 Starr Rd Russellton, West Deer Twp. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 7:30pm Monday with Rev. Jerry Pawloski officiating.
