Obituary

Helen Coward – Reynolds, 74, of, Leechburg, passed away, Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  Helen was born on December 31, 1950, in Blawnox, daughter of the late George F. and Helen P. McBriar.  Helen was a long-time employee of Giant Eagle, Allegheny Township, before retiring in 2015. Always a lover of music and having many friends in local bands, you could frequently find her dancing in the crowd with her best friends to show support. She also loved spending time at her best friend's camp in Crooked Creek. She, along with her family and friends, created decades of memories that never failed to put a smile on her face. Most notably, her greatest achievements were stepping in to be a fierce and loving mother to Chip, and a proud and doting Grammy to her grandson Lieben.

Helen is survived by William "Chip" and Ashley Reynolds; grandson, Lieben Reynolds; sister-in-law, Barb McBriar; brother, Bill McBriar as well as nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in Death by her parents, her brother George McBriar, and her longtime partner Bill Reynolds with whom she spent over 40 years with.

The family would like to acknowledge a few of her closest friends who selflessly stuck by her side, not only during the height of her illness, but throughout her life; Jim Coombs, Tracy Stover, Rob & Karen Keller, Rose Foreback and the Nelson Family. She considered all of you to be her family and would be eternally grateful for all of you standing beside her until the end.

Per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Interment will be private.
