Helen Buchanich, 89, formerly of Frazer Twp., went to be home with the Lord at the home of her daughter and son in law, Monday, August 4, 2014. She was born September 26, 1924 in Sun Mine to the late John and Lena Slobogian. Helen worked with her husband at their family business, the former Russellton Dry Cleaners. She enjoyed word search puzzles, flowers, cooking shows, and going to flea markets. She is survived by her sons Gary and Lester Buchanich of Tarentum; daughters, Yvonne (Robert) Henderson and Marcie (Aaron) Rogacki, of Buffalo Township, and Juanita (Michael) Smalara, of Indiana Township; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Frank Buchanich in 2008; brothers, Mike, Charles, and Frank Buchanich; sisters, Mary Intilli and Ann Corbett. Friends and relatives are invited to attend 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm, Wednesday, August 6, at the Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Rd Russellton, West Deer Twp. Funeral services will be conducted 10am Thursday in the funeral home with Rev David Kannard. Helen will be laid to rest next to her husband, Frank, at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Twp.
