Frank R. Thompson Sr., 60, of West Deer Twp., passed away at his home, Tuesday, December 25, 2012. Born June 8, 1952 to the late Joseph and June Thompson. Frank lived in the Valley all his life. He retired from the Deer Creek Sewage Authority in 2000. He enjoyed spending time with his family and pets, carpentry work, and was an avid outdoors man.

Frank is survived by his wife Ruth Thompson; sons, Frank Jr. and Jesse (Allison) Thompson, and daughter Trish Thompson all of West Deer Twp; brothers, James and Ronald (Judy) Thompson; sisters, Gloria (Edgar) Patton, Shirley Bacher, and Cynthia (Alan) Lutz; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister in law Joseph and Deanna Thompson.
