Donald Keith McCallister, 50, of West Deer Township, passed away, Saturday, July 24, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.  Donald was born February 16, 1971 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Joyce Ann (Dembaugh) McCallister and Daniel Francis McCallister of, West deer Township.  Donald was a 1989 graduate of Deer Lakes High School.  The day after his graduation, Donald joined the Construction Laborers Union and went to work for the Dick Corporation, Chester, Pennsylvania.  He returned to the Pittsburgh area and became a proud member of Local Union 373.  After a few years in the area, he followed his sister Sherry to Iraq, working four years for KBR.  Upon returning home, he worked for Facchiano Contracting, a company whom he really enjoyed being part of. He was Catholic by faith.  Donald is survived by his father; sister, Sherry (Ed) Dembaugh Carlson, of Gibsonia; brothers, Daniel F. McCallister, Jr., of Portsmouth, NH, and Damian Jack Edward (Amanda) McCallister, of Virginia Beach, Va; his brother from another mother, Dean Murray, of Curtisville; beloved nieces, Sarah and Maddy McCallister, of NH, and Kylie and Shaelyn McCallister, of VA.  He is preceded in death by his mother and grandparents, Francis "Frenchy" and Mary McCallister and Jack and Margaret Dembaugh.  The family suggest that memorial donations be made in his name to a cancer charity of ones choice.  Funeral services were private and in the care of Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Road, West Deer Township.
