Dolores Jane (Rodgers) Ecker, 87, of Harmar Township, passed away on August 7, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Punxsutawney,  October 27, 1938, daughter of the late Sam and Inez Rodgers. She Retired from the Fox Chapel Area School District, where she worked in the cafeteria at Dorseyville Middle School. She also worked at ABC Transit Incorporated.  Dolores left her position there as a monitor on a mini bus for special needs students. She loved both of her jobs! She also loved to travel with family and friends on cruises and car rides. She loved her family very much!!  She is survived by her loving family; brother, Robert L. (Barbara) Rodgers; sons, Donald L. (Carol) Ecker, Karl R. Ecker (Punky); daughters, Lucinda L. Ecker Comunale, RoseMary Ecker Penley (Fiance' Rick Gneiting); multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
