Diane F. Brnardic, 84, of West Deer Township, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 at her home. She was born February 11, 1929 in Bosiljevo, Croatia to the late Matt and Anna Dokman. Mrs. Brnardic worked with her husband in their company Brnardic Construction Inc. She was very active in politics and was the chair person of the West Deer Republican Committee for 20 years. She also attended several State and National Republican Conventions. Mrs. Brnardic enjoyed golfing and belonged to the former West Deer Travelers Club, Croatian Fraternal Union, Javor #1 on the North Side, and Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years Josip Brnardic; her sons Bronco (Candace) Brnadic of West Deer Township and Charlie Brnardic of Indianapolis Indiana; grandchildren Adam, Anne Marie and Hannah Brnardic. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Josip Dokman, Charles Dockman, and John Dokman.

Friends will be received 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Sunday, February 24 in the Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home Starr Rd, Russellton, West Deer Township. A Christian funeral mass will be held Monday, February 25 9:30am in Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Russellton, with Rev. James P. Holland officiating. She will be laid to rest at Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.
