Christine "Tina" Monarko, 66, of West Deer Township, passed away, Saturday, August 21,2021, at Harmar Village Care Center. Tina was born in New Kensington on March 24, 1955, daughter of the late George A. and Louise (Shesky) Monarko. She was a life long resident of West Deer Township and a 1973 graduate of Deer Lakes High School. Tina worked in the administration department for 47 years at the Oakmont Center for Nursing and Rehab. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid reader. She is survived by her life long companion Robert Bizyak; siblings, Thomas (Jeannie) Monarko, of Fawn Township and Marie (Lynn Haines) Monarko, of West Deer Township; nephews and great nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Callender and life long friend Karen Bizyak. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, August 24 at Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Road, Russellton, 15076. A Blessing service will be conducted by Rev. James P. Holland 9:30 am, Wednesday, in the funeral home. Tina will be buried with her family at Transfiguration Catholic Cemetery, Russellton.
