Bradley George
"Brad" Neubert
Jul 9, 1952 — Oct 22, 2026
Bradley George "Brad" Neubert, DVM, 74, of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, formerly of Hastings, Michigan, passed away peacefully on October 22nd 2026, surrounded by his family. In his final years, Brad lived with dementia, an illness that took his beautiful mind from us far too soon.
Brad was born on July 9, 1952, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Jane Louise (Miller) Neubert and Louis Callahan Neubert, and grew up in Hastings. He earned both his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1975. He remained a devoted Spartan for the rest of his life, in winning seasons and otherwise.
Brad began practicing veterinary medicine in the 1970s and cared for animals for nearly five decades. For many years he ran a mobile equine practice out of the family home in Glenshaw, driving to barns and farms across the region. Horses were his specialty, but his patient list also included llamas and alpacas, along with a steady stream of dogs and cats whose owners simply wanted Brad. His clients trusted him, and he never minded a late-night call when an animal needed help. He retired in 2022.
Brad loved good food, good wine, and the people he shared them with. He was a passionate cook, and his annual Labor Day party was a fixture on his friends' calendars for years. He enjoyed sporting events of every kind and was a familiar face at horse shows around town.
Brad is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Grace (Miros) Neubert; his mother, Jane Louise Neubert; his son, Joseph Bradley (Kerra) Neubert of Oakmont, Pennsylvania; his daughter, Elizabeth Jane Neubert of Akron, Ohio; and his granddaughter, Maxine Grace Neubert-Young. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Callahan Neubert, and by his sister, Cynthia "Cindy" Neubert, who died in early childhood.
Family and friends will be received 4 pm to 7 pm, Friday, October 30, 2026, at Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Rd, Russellton, PA 15076. Brad will be laid to rest at Saint Mary's Cemetery Indiana Township after a private family service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to your local animal shelter, in honor of a man who spent his life caring for animals.
