Bernadette Prokop, 98, of West Deer Township, passed away, Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Concordia of Cabot . She was born November 24, 1924, in New Kensington, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Zola) Dziedzic, and a life resident of West Deer Township. She worked at Aluminum Company (ALCOA), New Kensington, during World War II and also Scaife Company, Oakmont. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, Bairdford. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Audrey (Mark) Tristani of, Cabot. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Andrew Prokop Sr; son, Andrew Prokop Jr; siblings, Helen Engler, Julian Dziedzic and Raymond Dejick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am, Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Victors Campus. Bernadette will be laid to rest next to her husband and son, at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
