Arlene F. Elwood, 73, of Indiana Township, passed away unexpectedly at her residence , Friday, May 24, 2024. She was born on September 5, 1950 in the Homer City area of Indiana County, daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Maschak) Pisarcik. Arlene was a retired nursing assistant for the former Valley View Nursing Center, Indiana Township. She enjoyed bingo, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. Arlene is survived by her husband of 53 years, James Elwood; beloved children, Michael (Tammy) Elwood of, Indiana Township, Janet (Noel) Bongartz of, Elizabeth City, NC and Jay (Jennifer) Elwood of, Pittsburgh; grandchildren, Bradley, Victoria, Matthew, Jamie, Austin, Tyler, Madisyn, Morgan and Aidan; great grandchildren, James, Nathan, Maeve and Lilah. She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Michael Elwood, siblings; Judith Pisarcik, Joyce Bonovitz, Richard Pisarcik and Gloria Pisarcik. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visitation 2 to 6 pm, Thursday, May 30, 2024, at Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Road, Russellton, 15076. A Blessing Service will be conducted 10 am, Friday, in the funeral home, with Rev. James P. Holland, officiant. She will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Township.
